  1. Hey all. I have a drivers side Euro turn signal available. My passenger side cracked in an accident a few months ago, and I have since replaced both with a very patina'd pair of euro signals. This signal is in very good shape. The lens look new, and the chrome surround is very bright. I did remove the gasket to use on my replacement signals. Anyhow, I'd like to let this one go for $65 obo + shipping ($8 in US.) Feel free to contact me thru this thread or email me at jason(@)noahlarmz.com
  2. Off topic here, but I think I remember you saying you'd have Motorsport Roundels for sale at Vintage. Did you have any for an 02 hood? If so still available. Email me at jason(@)noahlarmz.com
  3. Yea that car is a total rip at that price. Anyhow as far as the front air dam, most of them were attached via exposed rivets, nutserts, etc.
  4. I love this car! It's refreshing to see something different. BTW did you fab that license plate mount yourself. I like that set-up a lot.
  5. I don't have any issues with clearance of the stock fan and my radiator.
  6. Im running a Nameless Performance radiator, stock fan. Not sure of the exact temps but my engine has been running cooler this Summer with it. (Had a 320 rad before switching.)
  7. MMmmm Ceylon. Thanks for the pics, car looks good!
  8. Opps! hahaha. Lose a zero. $6,000 For the O.P. here is my insurance help thread: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,354482/highlight,/
  9. +1 on getting a mulitmeter. Have you made sure your alt. belt is tight enough?
  10. I went thru this early this year, but they only offered me 1900! Anyhow thanks to advice from the FAQ I waited out. Printed in state and out of state cars for sale/sold. Copies of all my receipts of work done on the car. And took no for answer. A month later after fighting and not getting a price I was after. I told them I'd get my own classic car adjuster and a lawyer. By the end of the day they called me back and gave me my assessed value of 60000.
  11. Spencer, I'm pretty sure the owner sold this car last year. I seen it out in ghent summer 09 and it sounded really nice. Where in VA beach are u located? I'm local.
  12. Looking for a center kidney grill for a roundie. Good enough for a daily driver. Also looking for a passenger side 1600 grill. Email me at jm_rodman @ hotmail dot com
  13. 13x7 ATS Classics. Can't remember the ET off the top of my head.
  14. Yep. After cutting the rear fenders I welded the inner and outer back together. I used the notch technique I've seen on other project cars.
  15. Joel, The rears do offer more room vs. the turbo flares. Not sure by how much, but I still have plenty of room to fill out back (about 30mm.) I'm regretting not waiting to find a set of 13x8's, but the deal I got on the ATS's on there now was too good. Anyhow I think your ML's will look perfect. For the hood-hold downs I used rivets to attach to the hood, and 5mm nutserts for the fenders.
  16. I'm partial to roundies, so I voted that way, but when I see any '02 on the road it doesn't matter. Still makes my day!
  17. Been working a lot on the car for the past week. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the process, because I was in the "zone." Anyhow, I've successfully chopped and welded the rear fender, installed the Korman hood, attached the rear IE flares, and added an ANSA sport muffler. Later this week I'm going change out the trans fluid, clean up the under carriage. On to some photos! Not sure if it's a newly added feature, but the Korman FG hood now has a tubed fiberglass "X" brace molded into it for more stability. I know people have complained about them being flimsy in the past. As of now, I'm enjoying the sound of the Ansa. I kept my original muffler just in case I grow tired of it. I'm still debating on what I want to do about the paint. This car is far from original so I'm thinking about having some fun with it. Im contemplating on painting it with one of the Hot Rod Flatz colors (perhaps a matte blue or green.) I'm not sure yet, I have some time to think about what I want to do.
  18. I just installed an aluminum radiator from Nameless Performance. Used all the stock mounting points, and I can still run my original radiator fan. http://namelessperformance.com/
  19. I followed the POR-15 starter kit instructions. Used the Marine Clean first, followed by the Metal prep. Then I applied three coats of POR-15 (though on the can they only mentioned two.) I was unaware of adding a top coat however. Glad I saw this thread.
  20. I agree I'd rather have a polished lip as well. I think in the future I'll redo the wheels, but for now I just chose to go with the duplicolor to hide all the imperfections. I just got my IE rears in tonight, I'll email you tomorrow about with a comparison of the Mana Motorsport flares after I get them unpacked.
  21. I don't have the Manasport Alpina airdam, but I did buy Jasons front flares. I was really pleased with the quality and fitment. Besides some triming here and there the flares were basically "bolt-on." Another plus, is that Jason is willing to ship via Greyhound which saved me $$$, compared to freight charges. His "For Sale" ads are usually kind of confusing, but he responds quickly to emails. So I figured I'd just co-sign on him being a reputable seller. Check out my project blog for pics of his front flares installed. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,339727/highlight,/
