  1. I'll take it if it's not spoken for. Email me at jm_rodman(@)hotmail.com Shipping to 23455.
  2. Fred- I'll sell you the turbo flares. Just email me at jm_rodman(@)hotmail.com
  3. When I first got into '02's my favorite colors were Polaris, Colorado, and Inka. Since then it's shifted too Florida, Bristol, Tampico. That color definitely looks better on an 02 - still a nice color though.
  4. Temporarily I've painted my ATS Classics. They had some curb rash and most of the clear coat had chipped off. Once my budget allows, I'll probably get them powder coated. For now - Duplicolor "Graphite" will make due.
  5. Body work has begun. I've never tackled a project like this, so I don't excpect things to come out perfect. So far I've been happy with my progress. I received my front Alpina flares from Mana Motorsports last week, and Im very happy with the quality. They're definitely not flimsy, and appear to be pretty symmetric when compared to each other. Fitting them has not been much of a hassle, some trimming around the turn signal housing and by the door. I cut the panel off the original fenders that bolts to the chassis (close to the door) and epoxied them to the new fiberglass fenders. While I had the fenders off, I also went ahead and put down two coats of Por-15 (semi-gloss black). Now I'm just waiting for my Korman hood, IE rear flares, and Nameless Performance radiator.
  6. So a few months ago I got in a wreck. After fighting with my insurance company over the value of my car we finally came to an agreement 2 months later. My new plans are: - Ditch turbo flares, and install pig-cheeks. (Mana Motorsport fronts, IE rears) - Ditch 15" Alpina reps and return to 13's. (ATS Classics) - Replace nose panel with a brand new one from Mobile Traditions. - Replace hood with FG hood from Korman. - Nameless Performance radiator Pics of the car when I got it back from the salvage yard.
  7. IE also sells the longer bolts. Got mine there when I had RAs.
  8. Found this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Bmw-1602-2002-Euro-front-signal-indicators-/150592036826?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item230ffc1fda
  9. I have a WTB thread in the "For Sale" section. Just posting in the appropriate forum now. I need driver condition center kidney grills for a '71. Email me at jason(@)noahlarmz.com
  10. emailed. *didn't realize I posted in the "Parts For Sale."*
  11. Like the title states, looking for center grill for a '71. Driver quality preferred. Email me at jm_rodman@hotmail dot com
  12. I havent heard about it but would like more info? Where at in VA?
  13. Its funny. I their copy they say that these items will sell out.
  14. I did a search, so I don't think Im killin any kittens. Anyhow while surfing the BMP site I noticed that they are taking pre-orders on Supersprint headers and mufflers. Apparently Supersprint is bringing them back this one time for BMP. I wish I could indulge in them but way to pricey for my budget.
  15. I grabbed a jack from a 2006 honda civic. It fits in the spare wheel, and doesn't hinder my floor boards.
  16. I've seen this one around. I think it was originally Colorado or Inka.
  17. This one is from the 02 UK forum, but I've found it useful. Plus offset questions always pop up on here. http://www.02forum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3201
  18. bsulecki my car is lowered about 1.25 inches. you will definitely have to roll the rear fenders to avoid rubbing with this offset. ive never had a problem with the fronts. regards, Jason
  19. *Deposit taken* These reps only have about 500 miles on them. All are true, with no bends or curb rash. Two tires have some rubber loss along the side wall due to rubbing before I went to turbo flares, but have plenty of life (Dunlop Direzza DZ101 195/50R/15) I've only pictured two wheels, the other two are currently on the car while the front is on jacks, but are in the same exact condition. I'll get more pics and tire specs up tomorrow. Looking to get $700 obo plus actual shipping from 23455. Pickup is fine also.
  20. Does your charging light, light-up on your gauge? I had a similar problem last summer, ended up the bulb was dead and thus my battery kept dying on me.
  21. Thanks for the confirmation! I'll be updating my project blog in the near future. Just ordered a new nose panel, pig-cheek flares, and carbon fiber hood.
  22. I'm probably one of the few who appreciate the look of exposed rivets on a pig cheeked car. I think its the utility of being able to replace them quickly, and the old school look that rivets offer. Anyhow, I'm trying to find rear flares that are similar to the ones used on the cars below. (The kind that don't wrap around all the way to the rear panel.) I have a feeling that the IE ones fit the bill, but their product shots only show them bonded on race cars? Can anyone confirm for me? Also are the Korman rears like the flares below?
  23. UPDATE: I had talked to USAA earlier this morning and were unwilling to budge on their price. I politely asked what the next step was, and my rep suggested getting a third party appraisal (as suggested by memebers in this thread.) I told them I would go that route, and ended up getting a call around 530 EST, with the same rep (who was very helpful) informing me that their adjuster has agreed to the value I set for my 1600 (5k). I get my car back within the next 3 days! Now I have to just source some parts to get her back on the road. Very pleased. I still suggest anyone insuring a DD 02 to go with a company that offers an "agreed value". Other than that, I'd still USAA for any of my future vehicles.
  24. I'd suggest NOT insuring a daily driven 02 with USAA. So far they don't want to budge on their 2K market value.
