  3. Had my Baur seats reupholstered in was is supposed to be the correct material, obviously woven in the black forest by blue-eyed blonde haired Germans for the cost to get it here to the United States... Very happy with the finished results.

  6. @Geoff Raynak...I removed the rubber and polished the SS on existing trim. I left the end caps on and trimmed those down.

Seth Horowitz...I have a similar situation with nerve damage in my left leg... one thing that I did to my automatic that made it a ton More fun to drive was I replaced the clock with tachometer I found that when you really see your RPMs you can drive the automatic a lot harder than you think... I live in the hilly area and downshift all the time to climb the hills.
  8. Well today was the day, the mobile mechanic showed up and charged up the system / sorted out the relay for me and we’re blowing cold air more pictures to come As I get it cleaned up and back together tomorrow...The system took 3 pounds of Freon to fill...
  9. The mobile mechanic is coming to charge the air conditioner up with Freon on Thursday at 9 o’clock in the morning so I now have a deadline....pictures today on the install of the air condition on the Turkish princess...
  10. It’s all about man hours and being able to have productive hours...with out body work it takes me about 800/1000 man hours to take one apart and put it back together. You can’t just sit around looking at what you need to do! the pictures look great, rebuilding the sub frames is well worth the time... It’s like the Johnny Cash song one piece at a time!
  11. Progress to date on the install of a/c on the turkis princess four/five days in... I cut off the two braces up to hood hinges and fasten them to reinforced front edge. I cut off two wings on top of rails that supposed the shocks on the big bumpers that I removed long ago allowed me to install (2)12x16 coils....interior unit has two coils one for heater. Puts out right at 700cfm...

  13. Started working today on the install of A/C on our 74 turkis automatic...
  14. Completed break system/ driveshaft / exhaust / shifter box taking it off the rack To move it inside for final Assembly...
  15. I had some cosmic wheels redone in black they came out beautiful...
  16. Down to the last of the hand work on The re-fresh of these cosmic wheels...
  17. Finished up the break and Hydraulic system on my 72tii project car, it was such a beautiful day I took the baur for a ride on Cow Creek...

  21. I had the same thing happened on my Inka’s 123 not long after Ed installed it, The Cap Popped off as I was trying to restart the car after stopping at a restaurant to eat. ...I re-bent the two springs to put more tension on them and haven’t had any trouble since...
  22. I don’t cut them out, I see no reason with no paint to drain out...
