This was my order from 2019, only thing different no LED in turn signal cluster. Because way to bright at night and no LED for the alternator which I have changed out.
Been very happy with them also have the NAPA relay.

Guibo installed, nuts are all on flange side. I appreciate all the info and insight from everyone.
I did use @2002#3 instructions mostly. Drives nicer than before and got rid of a slight hum.
I wouldn't want to do this on side of the road that's for sure.
Checked out all the pictures on my Son's facebook looked like a great Vintage.
Always next year.

You must drive gently, 8.8 bolts are not up to spec.
Good call on replacing all the hardware.

I did order guibo and hardware from Blunttech. I did not over night it.
After a long conversation with everyone at home we decided to call it and not go this year.
We've been super busy the past month, Vintage race weekend, moving my 28yo into his first house and we did Mid Ohio Imsa event this past week end. We're all exhausted and an eleven hour car adventure is not easy for me any more.
I'm doing much better health wise but some of this stuff still just kicks my ass.
I'm some what disappointed. I do like beer, cars and good people but there will be other great events.
Thanks to everyone for all the info, insight and help. The faq never fails.
I'll be reading up on the proper way to get it all installed correctly.
Safe travels

Hate to write this, but anyone who is planning on taking an old car on a long trip should crawl under the car for a complete inspection - preferably more than a few days ahead of the intended departure date. Anything can happen.
Even if you take a spare giubo, would you be prepared to swap one out on the side of the road?
I couldn't agree more I planed on doing this two weeks ago but life happens.

Thanks for all the info and insight on this. This is PO work so will check it all out.
I did a quick and dirty level check with my iphone to get a general idea of alignment.
Never done driveshaft alignment so will read up on it. Bottom of trans case was a -2° and driveshaft was at 0° if that's even a proper way to measure.
The center bearing looks really good and diff looked pretty squared up.
I was getting a slight whine lately which I thought might be a wheel bearing just starting to go.
There was/is no vibration in the driveshaft that I could tell for what thats worth.
Will also get new bolts they appear to be mismatched and check out proper direction.

With a mis-aligned driveshaft, should always carry a spare guibo.
Are you saying I have a mis-aligned driveshaft ?

Thanks guys figured as much. Checking on parts now.

So under the car nut and bolting things everything is good until. I check out the Guibo and find cracks on both sides of it. Well Shit.
It's 1400 miles round trip. I think I know the answer but I'll ask is it too far gone and would one risk the drive to The Vintage ? No one local has the part of course.
I can still go but I think I'm taking my E39.
Thoughts ?

Ordered a O2 sensor on Monday and showed up on my porch Tuesday. Ordered spare cap/rotor and misc. for The Vintage from Bluntech Monday and also got it today.
I worry about driving 1400 miles round trip in my 2002 for The Vintage, then remember I once drove a Opel Manta from Michigan to Florida and back with to much beer and no spare parts.
So I think will be okay.

Basically the same setup for my 1970 BMW 1600. Went with a single PC680, (because it worked well in my 1976) and moved all my relays under the back seat as well. 1/0 AWG to the front distribution box.

Okay thats pretty cool.

Noico and Kilmat are much cheaper option. They come in sheets.
