Just terrible news. I always enjoyed Pauls posts and was impressed with the quality of his work.
His work was one of the benchmarks and inspired me to get in the garage and work on my 02.
Not more than a week ago I bookmarked his thread for a winter project.
Thoughts and Prayers for his family.
Godspeed Paul

The exterior pictures are overdone, but the interior and suspension look good.
I mean can the exterior be that nice ? As usual his presentation is very well done.
Very nice car for sure.

I think you would miss the 02 more than enjoy the BRZ.
That and I'm not a Subi boxer fan.
I like Subaru's just don't want to own one.

Great news . Been thinking how to get it home and where to store it.

Ran the part number on eBay and a dozen pop up. Bad news is there all in Europe.
I have ordered parts from eBay Europe before with good results.

I spotted one in my garage. Could use a wash but still pretty cool.

I'm okay with it. Thought it was hair at first and kept trying to wipe it off my laptop screen.

Be careful with the cheaper aftermarket shift rod joints, like MTC and URO. I bought a couple of those before opting for the much more expensive Genuine BMW joint. The cheaper ones had the hole for the pin that attaches to the tranny shifter shaft drilled off center, so it didn't line up and wouldn't work. I am sure most of them are probably fine, but the ones I got were a no go.
Had this problem also

So I rolled the the dice and place an order for some wheel spacers and a fuel rail.
Ordered on Thursday a.m. est. My order was shipped Thursday afternoon and received it today Monday in Michigan.
Everything was correct and as it should be.
I was very disappointed with my last attempt to order and very critical them.
Looks like they turned the corner and things are getting better.

Do you know of those LEDs were plug 'n play to work with the rheostat, and if so, the source of the lamps. Or did they require any additional wiring, etc? They're much brighter than the OEM incandescents and look better too.
mike
I purchased mine at SuperBrightLEDs. They are plug n play also dimmable. Over a year with no problems.
Everything is LED but the alternator light.
