How is there not a Midwest version of this ? Always west coast or east coast. Nothing for us midwesterners.
heavy sigh

I always thought I had reasonably high standards when it came to cars. I'm self taught but have over a decade of crewing on
sports cars and five years of Indy Lights. I'm highly critical of my work so I feel your pain.
So the last three years plus my oldest has worked at a high end restro mod shop. average build is over 200k some over 500k.
Paint jobs are in the 40k range. I had to throw my standards out the window cause there work is stunning.
My car is a very nice driver and I have a long list of things I want to redo it never ends, and I'm okay with that.
I can drive myself crazy on all the things I want to do.
Then at a car show someone walks up and tells me my car is beautiful.
I smile, thank them and think dude you need to relax just a little.

That Yellow damn,

The IE one came on my car two plus years and not a hick up. IE looks like the Carter one and would buy at $40. for sure.
Mine is mounted to trunk floor with a couple of grommets to help isolate it. No noise complaints at all.

Spray bombed a license plate holder and installed after two years without. Installed steering wheel kneepad also.
Changed plugs and ordered cap rotor points and condenser.
-
Ha, literally just came in from garage, I installed a kneepad I had forever on a shelf.

That Carter inline pump appears to be the one Ireland sells for $85.

Great color looks well done. Congrats.

I considered Motul Classic but it's around $9.55 a quart and would have to order it on the interweb. I can get Valvoline VR1 20w50 at my local Menards for $4.44 a quart. So theres that and been happy with the VR1.

@d.hitchcock how happy are you with the Jenvey ? I'm considering it.

My 73 tii. I had it mid 1990's for only a year then sold it. Had the itch about 4 years ago to get another sports car but didn't
know what. I ran across my old 2002 at a car show and tried to buy it back with no luck.
I realized I had to have another and that started a 18 month search to find the one I have now.
Out of all the cars out their 2002's are my all time favorites.

Sorry, I don't follow.
I believe he's referring to the fender flares. Very nice car but need another angle on the flairs

Going to The Vintage, is a great event and didn't think wife and kid could hang for the classroom stuff.
Plus had reservations at Clarion already. Was really torn on what to go too.
Wanted to go and see all the 2002s and meet some good people. Hoping it's in the Spring next year.

I like the eBay postings. I see stuff I could use that I don't look for usually.
Having said that I don't need a bazillon eBay posting either.
