Not a big fan of redrilling wheels but would be easy to do with style 5 wheels.

Hi gentlemen, still busy with my total 2002Tii restoration. Yesterday I was ready to put a layer of black hi temp paint on the radiator when the idea to clean and polish the copper top and bottom came to my mind... What do you think? Should I paint it all black or just protect that copper with a clear coat and paint the central part with black? On the pictures, the bottom is no polished yet.
Pictures no work for me, ☹️

Pulled instrument cluster and changed out one of the glass covers because of very small scratch.
Also changed out alternator instrument LED with a incandescent bulb.

Yikes,, spray adhesive ?? no way. I cleaned everything up lacquer thinner and 3M adhesive remover.
Then laid painters tape down next to weatherstriping 3M black adhesive was applied using a small Harbor Freight paint brush. Apply to body and weatherstrip let dry 15 min. install with clamps. Redid both doors last Summer with zero problems so far.
Harbor Freight brush use and just throw away when done.

I'm pretty sure that is rare rides. Their like 90 minutes from me,always tempted to check them out when he has one for sale.
I've read some of the horror stories of past. But IIRC there have been two recent purchases from him with pretty happy owners.
So T-Mo don't be to bummed yet and enjoy your trip home. I bought mine site unseen and its worked out pretty well.

Ouch. I always had great luck just calling them. Seemed faster and more reliable than the web orders. Easier than waiting for (hoping?) them to go out of business. The more businesses that keep 02s running the better. Not wishing or hoping anyone goes out of business. Just my opinion of where their going. Old habits are hard to break.
I was sent two invoices on different days with different invoice #'s. I was sent two emails on different days asking me if
I wanted what they had shipped. Replied to both within a hour to ship what they had. Then a phone call days later saying the header was now out of stock.
He sounded relieved on the phone that I cancelled. I do hope they get their shit together, just not too optimistic.
People just need to realize what can happen when ordering from them.
I'm sure this Summer I might try ordering the fuel rail, looks like a nice piece. But knowing it might show up or might not.

I tried to purchase a header ,fuel rail for my Webbers and a tube of anti-seize.
I had three emails asking me if they should ship what they have ? I said yes.
On the Eleventh day of nothing shipped I get a call telling me the header is out of stock and they only have
them with ceramic coat for another $120. Oh and hey someone else cancelled their order so they now have a fuel rail.
The Website states everything is in stock all eleven days, but hey what do they know.
I decided to cancel the whole order. At this point my opinion of them is nothing but a Clown Show.
To bad they have some things I would like to buy.
I think I'll just wait for The Going Out of Business sale.

I've been staring at the reproduction ALpina Tri-
Dood....
Just buy this one. I've been staring/drooling over it for a while now wondering if I should bite the bullet.
http://www.kooglewerks.com/yard-sale/alpina-bundle-of-snakes-tri-y-replica-header-for-bmw-2002
So please... do it. So I don't have to.
I looked at that one but at $950. plus add a bung,V band and the header springs just get the new one.
The $1695. one is 2.25 and my exhaust 2.50. It never ends.?

Ended up cancelling my Ireland Engineering order. After 11 days they called to tell me the header I ordered was out of stock.
If I spend another $120. for ceramic coat they could send send that one. Plus couldn't fill other items on the order.
Never dealt with so much incompetence on a parts order before.
If anyone has a good header to recommend please let me know.

Just got off the phone with Ireland, The header you ordered eleven days ago, well we don't have it in stock.
But for an extra $120. we can send you one that's ceramic coated. Oh the out of stock fuel rail that we said was in stock.
Hey look well we found one of those. So they wanted another $120. for something I would have to grind off to add a bung and can get done by someone I know for a beer.
Pass, I asked for a full refund, which I got pretty quickly surprisingly. I think their getting a lot of practice on that.
Never again, one of the most incompetent parts purchase's I have seen.
So any recommendations on a good header would be appreciated. Thinkin going Big and getting the Kooglewerks one.

Placed my order on April 4th. I have gotten three emails asking if they should ship what's in stock or wait on backordered item. The website stated everything was in stock but guess not ? Told them to ship what they have all three times.
Stated they "hope to get it out tomorrow " so eleven days and it just might get shipped.

I found everything you need to make those rods on eBay. I had to make two linkage for my e39 touring rear
air suspension sensors. IIRC I looked at motorcycle linkage and generic carburetor linkages.
Also Pierce had six different sizes on their website. None of those could work ?
