We had two choices on where to go. Grand Rapids Cars and Coffee had a meet at Gilmore Car Museum.
But Cars and Coffee you had to pre register, be in line at 9:45 to be let in and told where to park at 10:00.
You also had to stay till 1:00 and if you left early CnC had the right to ban you from future CnC events.
WTF, when did Cars and Coffee get so serious ?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I have purchased both new gears, led lights and a new bezel .
I plan to clean and go through it pretty soon to see what I find.
Their is no info on anyone having this problem that I could find.

Went to a local car show with the 2002. One of my neighbors helps organize the show and has asked me for 4 years to take one of my cars, but I've always had other commitments. It was super old school muscle cars, lots of stuffed animals and skeletons.
We lasted till noon, was 90° out and I was toasted but he was happy we showed. Should of grabbed a photo one car had maybe nine skulls jut in the engine bay. ?

They look great!
Do you have a link to them pls?
I will try to get some brake light and back up light pictures tonight, a few people have asked for more info.
The link is for my 73. They give you a couple of options, I chose "Our pick" seemed to be the better of the two.
They work great, I also I'm using the NAPA led flasher don't know if that would matter just fyi.

Replaced all my taillight bulbs with super bright led bulbs. A great improvement of the the stock bulbs.
Will do the LED Blunttech taillight upgrade kit this winter. But for forty bucks I feel much safer with them.
Still need to get a high mount center brake light also. Also purchased led bulbs for my instrument panel.
Will do next couple days.

If you are looking for one on the cheap (price, not quality), check out renown USA http://www.renownusa.com/category/steering-wheels . I love their designs, but have yet to actually try them. I don't have the right adaptor currently.
Thanks, I forgot about Renown, great link I like their wheels and Motorsport horn button and the shift boot.
It says the size is 330mm I don't know if that could be too small but I do like the Mille Rosso. Hmmmmm

The previous owner of my car went through this. He lived in Canada and the shop had a hard time finding Inka also.
It was painted in 2014 and they ended up using Audi Glut Orange. Everyone thinks its Inka and a few thought it was Colorado.
Some people I explain it to others I just agree. Its very close I think maybe a little more orange, but any shop can match it.

My 73 2002 has a newer steering wheel that I'm not a fan of. Been looking at this Nardi Wheel or something similar.
Was wondering what people have and like. Also what is the preferred size that works well.
Most threads were kinda old, post up your wheel and any thoughts.

Attended the DeutscheMarques car show at Gilmore Car Museum with my Touring and my 2002.
The 2002 won best 70's BMW, big surprise since their was a couple of very well done 2002 I would have picked over mine.
Too busy for pictures, my Son took this one .
This BMW 2002 won best of show, I didn't talk to owner. Was well deserved beautiful car.
Great place for a car show.
