E30 have been taking off recently.I thought long and hard on this one, went for $19.750. plus .

I did see this at The Vintage. While I only had time to take a casual look, I remember the exterior being almost perfect. Is a stunning car in person. Not a fan of the black engine bay or trunk, but that could be addressed and well worth the investment. Worthy winner of award.IMHO.glwa

At Watkins Glen one year we had a gas leak in a showroom stock Honda.
A Fireman told us to rub Ivory soap on the hole to stop the leak. Worked for a least four days
when we pulled the tank to repair. Helped us finish the race.
The fat in the soap seals the tank, Ivory soap has some of the highest amount of fat in it.
Most bar soap will work.

If I'm not mistaken ,he bought it to flip. Tried to sell it as a tii and was called out over it. Someone even posted a CL ad with a warning.
IIRC it was being sold with a salvaged title for 5 or 6k.

And is there a group rate ?

What a great guy, I've met him before and he is the real thing.
I have very few heroes and he would be one of them.

They have been pretty high for quite a while, over a year ago wanted one.
$180. was cheapest I've found. Still to much for this thrifty guy.

On a good note, my 25yo Son is turning out to be a hell of a fabricator.
The floor pans started out as flat sheet stock metal.

Most I've ever owned at one time was six IIRC.
Right now we own three.
Mazda 6
BMW e39 garage queen
BMW e39 winter beater
In search of a 2002 and a Pole Barn,House and 3 acres.
Also, my Son has a Duramax Silvarado and a 550 hp Mitsubitsi Evo.
The Evo is going in search of a Split Bumper Camaro and his own house,
hopefully his own cellphone plan also.?

There’s a driver side door on craigslist in Tacoma for $120. No glass but looks pretty good otherwise.

Karl is that 1600 from Sparta Mi. ? I had a look at it a month or so ago. Chamonix with a sunroof and for some reason he hadn't hooked up the front calipers. Very solid car in need of little TLC to be a very nice 1600. I was there when he cleaned off the grease and realized it wasn't numbers matching.
He seemed surprised by that. Nice score,Congrats.
