And hundreds of personal hours in labor (other than machine work) because I'm a stubborn/frugal/inquisitive SOB who insists on doing as much as possible, myself.  

 

Still on the list is a 5-speed and refurbishment of the rear subframe + a LSD, then I'd consider the car pretty much completed. 

 

Unfortunately, I have decided to go another route, and either sell/trade the car to start a retro-electric conversion of another 02, Citroen DS, or something else. I unfortunately can only afford one project at a time. 

 

So, if Brunhilde gets converted i'm look at another

~3.5k Electric Motor

~7k Batteries

~2.5k Misc. controllers and electronics/batteries..

~XXX for reinforced suspension components/driveline/Brakes to handle the extra weight/power/speed/torque that'll be on hand.

Replace,if something goes wrong later they will tell you it should have been replaced before install or it was dented in use.

I seen my old tii last Summer,tried to buy it back with no luck.

Retired for two years, found out I'm pretty good at doing nothing.? 

He had it listed on eBay for $16,750.  I asked about the VIN,snorkel and no cutout by the firewall,never heard a word.  Was listed by the previous owner as a salvaged title tii tribute car.  Fraud comes to mind.

Thanks Les, I think he is really trying it on. 

I read the comments and felt bad for the guy selling it. I think he thought he had bought a legit tii. Still could have, lots o questions. 

He stated he was attempting to get a boat load of paperwork from the previous owner, but with no luck. Gee, surprise.    

There is also a tii on eBay now that was listed as a salvage title tribute car on Craigslist a few

weeks back. I asked about the VIN three times and have yet to hear back.
