No-one told them you shouldn't bore an regular M10 block to 93mm either. However, if you take an M3 Evo block with 95.5mm bore and install that 98mm krank, you end up with 2.806L. -------- We don't need no stinken turbocharger.

As if a 2.3L S14 does not vibrate enough!!!  Get out the safety wire and Loctite for the whole car.   Notice they also say there is only room for 1 compression ring on the pistons even using a 135mm connecting rod.

Jiminy Christmas!

Eric Kerman told me the head is the limiting factor and it didn't make sense to go over the 2230 recipe. And that's with his head port design. I would guess larger than 316 cam would be required and 47mm intake at a min. The torque would be impressive.

Wasn't Norm's CS a 2.5?
