WTB: 2 Piece Dash for early tii

There's no actual difference between a tii and a non-tii dash. All dashes came ready for a "tii clock": you just need to cut out the hole. I put a tii clock in my '76 when it was a week old (below).

This greatly expands your range of possible dashes. There's an NOS lower portion on eBay, but it does have a defect from years of storage.

Just Dashes, and other specialist shops, such as Dash Specialists, can restore a "core" condition dash, but you do need a core, and the texture will vary slightly from the original.

If you are able to find a used, unrestored dash that meets your condition requirements, the only difference among the '71-'73 two-piece dashes is with respect to the labelling over the four knobs surrounding the instrument cluster. The lower left knob through late '72-ish is Fan Speed whereas that is replaced with Rear Defrost when the lower slide controls took over the fan speed function.

Good luck,

Steve

I have to look friday at what i have, I have a 72 tii that I am restoring, and it needs a dash so i don't want to short my restorations, I will contact you , I have a lot of 1piece dashes, also you need to consider covering it with black leather with a contrasting stiching, seen it done, looks much better than plastic.
